Mallorca can claim to have some of the finest spa and fitness facilities around and the Ballearic region has the largest number of wellness facilities in Spain.  Take care, though, the facilities at some hotels are cramped and second rate.

On the other hand, there are some truly stunning spa facilities around - at La Residencia for example, or the Zen Zone at the luxurious Son Net.  At the opposite end of the scale, itinerants, often Asian for some reason, offer relaxing massages on many Mallorca beaches.  Use them at your own risk!
