Canyamel has been described as a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing, if that term can be applied to a golf course! Designed by José Gancedo and opened in 1988, the course looks a little dull at first, but clever bunkering and, on the front nine particularly, the lay of the land make accuracy essential.
